So I have finally given up. After a full month of attempting to stumble along with a half broken (by Microsoft!) Surface Pro 2 I finally got the much anticipated and hoped for January Firmware.
\nThis installed with no issue and to begin with the signs were positive.<\/p>\n
The day before yesterday though the problems started to return. Although the machine appeared to “sleep” now, the machine always woke with 100% capacity.<\/p>\n
That was a freak I thought. A one off. Sadly it was not the case. Everytime it woke from sleep it was going back up to 100%.<\/p>\n
Given the cost of the product, and the fact the product wasn’t very old I contacted Microsoft who have said the will swap the unit.<\/p>\n
