As I meet more people who are interested in moving to the #WP8 I see more of the challenges of the gap that the consumer sees in the WP8 estate. A lot of the issues are not with the volume of the applications, but it is, as the other media people are saying, the number of “top apps” that Microsoft carry in their store.
In addition, its becoming clear that people don’t mind moving to #wp8, but what their issues is, they aren’t able to interact (as they previously did) with their #iPhone buddies. Applications that have simple interactions within the #iPhone world are extremely difficult when you are trying to interact across the #Microsoft and #Apple gap.
This might be the biggest challenge that #Microsoft face. Getting people to move away from #Apple, but still feel they can interact seamlessly with their old #Apple buddies…
