If you have a windows 7 machine, a windows 8 phone and an xbox music pass account which saves music to the external sd card be warned! YOU CAN NOT SYNC PHONE MUSIC TO YOUR PC.
The whole wp8 integration with windows 7 is terrible. Nothing works unless you have followed very specific rules. Which i must point out aren’t documented anywhere…
I was an early adopter of windows phone 7, and at the time i was comfortable to give Microsoft the benefit of the doubt. Windows phone 8 and xbox music is terrible. “Why continue with something that worked when you can break it and destroy all the good stuff?”
That is what it feels like Microsoft has done – moving the very few windows phone users away from zune and wp7 to this mess of windows 8 apps / windows 7 desktop application / xbox music seems to be, so far, the worst decision they could have made…
I hope things improve. And soon… (days not weeks or months!)
