I’m not naive to Google rankings and the way that the ordering depends on on-line tags, meta data and other social linkages.
However, it did surprise me to realise that my name and the word “blog” did not appear as the top hit on Google.
The top hit was a similar domain which contained the word online.
I find this very odd, but also slightly unsurprising.
Google decide what you find what you search. Irrespective of what you type in, they force what appears as results.
Of course its in their interests to keep what you need at the top of the search criteria, else you will move to a search engine other than theirs.
