It seemed a little counter intuitive to me, but I have found that the Live Writer software from Microsoft (as part of their really old LIVE suite of software) is the perfect fit for me and my blogging.
I have been blogging for some time, mainly using a WordPress Windows Phone 8 phone application. It allowed me to write when no connection was available and then upload when I had the connection back. On my commute this is essential as there is poor signal and I use the Underground.
Live Writer seems to be a free piece of software that will allow me to write on the move, using my PC and NOT require connection to the internet. Its an old piece of software but it seems to fit the bill perfectly!
