Much to my surprise #Nokia do not have a phone to upgrade for #Nokia #Lumia #820 users…

Much to my surprise, the specs of the Nokia Lumia 820 are still holding their ground well.

I have owned an 820 since release in October 2012. It has served me well. Unfortunately I put it in my rucksack whilst out for a ride this week and, due to some of the wettest rain known to mankind, my rucksack filled with water and has stopped the phone from working. The touch screen is bust, it turns on, but the screen doesn’t touch and more.

I have reviewed the upgrade options and there is a 1320 and 1520 which are huge. The latter brig a really capable phone, just far too big.
The 930 has good speck but I can’t take out te battery and has now memory card slot.
The 630 has the features I would want, but it seems now better than the broken 820 (worse in some cases) specs wise.

There is no natural upgrade for people using the 820.

Ideally a 1080HD screen, 2GB RAM, quad processor, Qi (chi) charging, removal battery and a micro SD slot.
Onboard memory can be 16GB.

Not asking for much. #Nokia #Microsoft, please sort it out…
