I have been slowly working towards getting my team to function using the Agile way of working. It has personally taken me about six months to work out if this is a good or bad way of thinking and / or working.
I was initially of the view that it was a fad, and really didn't value.
I am now converted…
A long time back I wrote about the concept of #HyperScheduling. I wasnt really aware of Agile back then, but looking back, I can see how it actually fits quiet well. At the time I was running a support organisation and frequently I was fortunate enough to be involved in ITIL incident management. Currently, I am running a KanBan team, we looked at SCRUM but it didnt fit with what we wanted to do.
KanBan, Support Management, Incident Management, SCRUM, AGILE and my silly concept all have a similar thread.
They are all very similar and need, basically, the same skill set of people… The key is finding the right people. I am going to reflect on this and come back with some more formal thoughts.
