#windows10 was announced earlier this week and gives the chance for power users and people are just generally interested to use the new Windows 10 OS until April 2015, normal health warning about crashing etc applies.
I am yet to download the software and sample it, but I think I will this time take part. I didn't with Windows 8 due to the touch nature of it, and at the time I didn't have the correct hardware to support it. Now I do and I think I will give the new version a go.
It's odd that Microsoft have decided to jump to 10. But that said, the windows 7 OS, I think, was actually a build number of 6. It's just a label, I mean, what did XP really mean, or did we actually care for the name Vista. Microsoft are trying to make a statement with calling it 10. Not sure what it is though.
Still like the idea of the fact that Seven Ate Nine.
